2D platformer Ori and the Will of the Wisps was developed by Nintendo. Continuation of the story of the guardian spirit of a hauntingly beautiful forest, this game is a direct sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest.
Luminous forest at night
A new chapter in Ori's story was announced at E3 2017, following the original's rave reviews and acclaim. After the events of the original, Ori and the Will of the Wisps explores the forest of Nibel once again. A level progression system similar to Metroid/Castlevania dominates the gameplay.
It is possible to unlock new abilities which enhance Ori's physical abilities and provide access to previously hidden areas, which often include the light companion Sein. It is unclear what advances have been made in Ori and the Will of the Wisps compared to its predecessor. It was part of the charm of the first game's tough-but-fair difficulty, and hopefully, it will continue.
